1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Everest Skills Academy platform at evrestskills.com ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and instructors.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it if it changes.

You may not share your account, sell access, or use another person's account without their permission.

3. Enrolment & Course Access

Upon successful enrolment in a course, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and view the course content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. Unless stated otherwise, enrolment grants lifetime access to that course's content as it exists at enrolment.

We reserve the right to retire or update course content. We will notify enrolled students if material changes are made.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Copy, redistribute, or resell course content without written permission.
• Use automated tools to scrape, download, or bulk-access course materials.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or any content that is unlawful, harmful, or offensive.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its systems.

5. Intellectual Property

All course content, including videos, text, graphics, and code samples, is the intellectual property of Everest Skills Academy or its instructors and is protected by copyright law. Your enrolment does not transfer any ownership rights.

You retain ownership of any content you submit (e.g., discussion posts, project submissions), but grant us a licence to display it on the Platform.

6. Certificates

Certificates of completion are issued upon meeting the completion criteria for a course. Certificates are non-transferable and represent completion of learning activities on our Platform. They do not constitute academic qualifications unless explicitly stated. We reserve the right to revoke a certificate if it was obtained fraudulently.

7. Payments & Refunds

Prices are displayed in the applicable currency at checkout. All payments are processed securely via our payment provider. We offer a 7-day refund for paid courses provided you have not completed more than 20% of the course content. Refund requests must be submitted to support@evrestskills.com.

8. Disclaimers

The Platform and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that course content will result in employment, certification, or any specific outcome. Learning results depend on individual effort and circumstances.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Everest Skills Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the course giving rise to the claim in the 12 months preceding the event.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Upon termination, your licence to access course content ends immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
